The freakish weather results in actual snowboarding, near Manchester, as rare as steak, we took the bait YEAH! Built a snow jump and tried to fly, realistically we're novice as f*ck but trying is half the fun, bring it on.
Some photos from local snowboarding, Teggs Nose, Macc an the jump of death and Werneth Low, Greater Manchester. Got to make the most of this weird weather, dust off my 10 year old snowboard and hit the piste, aka farmers hill in Macc, ace.

The Twelve Skates of Christmas? Well it seemed like a good idea at the time, it was a laugh filming and skating, tough concept, sort of obtainable. Oh and in no way is this film promoting underage drinking, 12 drummers drumming rhymes like shite! Stay tuned for the offcuts and links to you tube, mpora etc etc.. you could always link this up, its Christmas after all. So thats a Merry Christmas and a happy 2010 from me at Stupid, see you sooner than later, peace
Stoked that SIDEWALK have hooked it up too, merry bloody Christmas.

Its mad, the stuff you can find trawling the internet. Whilst I was looking for something cool to add to my photo I found a totally euro skate company, sweet skateboards give it a gander.

Felix smiths the awkward rail with winter steez

treacherous boardslide, its a 2 stepper.

Tonight we shunned the skate park and got back to our skateboarding roots with a freezing cold session on our commercial brethren’s property. With out sounding too nostalgic it reminded me why I started skateboarding and why I’ve stuck with it for the last 15+ years, that’s a long time and some of you reading this were probably ga ga goo gooing when I popped my first ollie, man im old.
The thing is, I don't feel old, if anything, skateboarding for so long has had a positive influence on my life, ignore the dangers and see it for the freedom an fun its meant to be. Rolling around crappy car parks was the beginning for me, and my eternal struggle with gravity always the goal, nothings changed. In a jungle of roads, concrete, car parks, buildings and people, the skateboard lays dormant. A tool that uses the environment and creates something expressive and fluid needs an artist, and you, the skateboarder are just that. Abstract I know, but skating is all about your environment and how you use it. It felt good to get back to basics, we got to do that again.

With the torrential rain, an stacks of unseen ancient footage I made this edit for your curious peepers. It features some random old bits of fromage from certain legends, as well as shops and skateparks that sadly didn't survive for long enough. I made another version, can't make my mind up which one I like most, there both weird.
