Now John has been growing his beard for months, in fact since the council first promised lights in 'Projekts' skatepark, that was 10 months ago and this has recently been granted. Projekts held a 'let there be light' compitition and John shaved it off. He raised over 300 pounds for homeless charity 'the mustard tree,' and whilst the rail comp was taking place he was surrounded by friends and filmers. He said it was very surreal, and worth every penny . Still, its a loss to bearded skateboarders everywhere and now its gone he feels somewhat lonely and facially unaware, when he goes to feel his chin he thinks his hand is in his skull, wierd. John had a massive beard, everyone wanted to touch it and now its gone, who's gonna beat that? I think somebody should grow their nails for charity, anyway it's good enough to make the first Mush of Month. Keep pumping.

He said that random people would ask to touch his beard even stopping him in the street, assuming he was muslim, old or homeless and now he feels his face is 3 inches too close.
