Urbis skate stopped

It seemed inevitable really, the big wigs who own the land, the planning officials and bureaucratic pigs that rule the streets have finally put an end to skateboard fun at Urbis. Funny that whilst Urbis was a gallery of modern art, skateboarding there although outlawed often tolerated. The architect even admitted designing the public space with skateboarding in mind, perfect as it was. After years of being a Manchester spot it seems now that its become a museum of football the new owners must want skaters out. Skate stopped after how long? 9 years is how long. I guess that's progression. Cultural revolution begins now, so much for Manchester as a forward thinking city, wake up and realise skate stoppers don't stop anything, they just look ugly.
