The C.A.S.T skateshop mini ramp film
Cast was a rad but now defunct skateshop in the
city
of Manchester. It housed a sweet three foot mini ramp that usually
had several clothes racks on it rendering the thing useless during
working hours, still this didn't stop us skating the thing after hours.
We skated this ramp tons of times and had a lot of good times. The
owner of the shop named Felix, sadly a douche,
but a happy douche, more on that later. Anyway, I pumped some creative
juices into making a random film utilising the back wall as a blue
screen and getting the buddys together for a smashing skateboard bonanza.
I guess I may have been doing way to much sherbert during the editing
because it ended up looking well narcaccsitic, the effects and animations
took ages and I got lost along the way, whenever i watch this film
I want to make the thing again only shorter and less bloody epic,
still learning how to edit like this can only be progression, surely?
Oh an Felix if your reading this your not a douche, the footage of
your roof gap will prove it.
